Please don't tell her I listen to Michael Bolton!
:. a first encounter .:
(Basic profiling -- Tell us a little about yourself.)

What's your name? (Rather, what should we call you?) I go by lots of names but Melissa is the standard.
Male or female? Both? Neither? Female. V___V
How old are you? ... How old do you feel? I'm 21 but my maturity level is probably around 10 years or so. I didn't have much of a childhood so I've decided to be childish now!
What do you normally look like? (Feel free to post a picture.) Like I just got out of bed. Long brown hair I haven't cut in ages with split ends pulled into a messy pony tail. Baggy jeans or pajama pants. Old t-shirts. Ratty Converse sneakers. Pale skin, freckles, big stupid grin, chipmunk cheeks. Got some junk in the trunk.
How do most of your first impressions go? Generally I'm quite friendly!

:. bunnies and bear curry .:
(If you're a bit lacking in the romance department, use your imagination.)

Tell us about your 'first love' -- accepted or rejected? Didn't even have the chance to be rejected. I fell in love with my straight best friend and never told her. Broke my heart to watch her date and gradually forget about me.
Was it love at first sight, or more of a gradual thing? I didn't even realize I was in love for ages and ages. So I suppose it was gradual but strong.
You find out a good friend has a crush on you, but it's a one-sided thing. Does the way you act around them change? Hmmm... I'd probably try not to make flirty jokes around them. Just be more aware of myself. I can't imagine this actually happening though.
And what if they were a total stranger? Well, it wouldn't be much of an issue then would it? I'd just say I wasn't interested and that'd be that!

When it comes to actually being in a relationship...
Physically or otherwise -- what are you looking for in a person, anyway? Someone I can have a conversation with. A person who's intellectually curious about the world they live in. Someone with a low-tolerance for drama who can be completely honest with me. A person who's got a big sexual appetite. Someone who'll give me lots of space when I need it. A person who will laugh with me and won't mind just chilling out at home or not going on fancy or elaborate dates. Physical appearance doesn't matter to me much.
Is it better to be friends before lovers? I think the ideal partner should be both. Not one morphing into the other. I probably value friendship over love if I'm honest because a partner who's also a friend is more likely to enrich my life.
Rickshaws or waterslides? (As in, would you rather take it slow or live for the moment?) I go with the flow generally. Probably faster physically, emotionally slower. Takes time for me to trust.
PDA: Public or Private Displays of Affection? Private. Unless we're doing something fun and naughty in a movie theatre or a restaurant. ;)

:. motivation -- or lack thereof .:
(Be honest.)

What kind of a student were/are you? When I'm interested in the topic and I have a great teacher, I'm an excellent, curious, dedicated student who goes above and beyond the call of duty. Creative and hard working. Engaged in discussions during class time. When I'm not interested, I'm abysmal. A bit of a smartass, never getting things in on time, totally pissy and lazy.
Did you aim for top marks or settle with just getting by? I could give a shit about marks. Grades are a pretty horrible way to gauge intelligence or capabilities in my opinion. So I got by, mostly for my mother's sake.
Could the same be said for your habits outside of class? I'm as laid-back as they come.

Have any plans for the future? (If not, why?) Not really. I'm very interested in a career in sexology, but I'm not sure how realistic that is. I feel pretty aimless right now.
Could you sacrifice a potential career to care for family? I don't see myself having a family. I guess it would depend on how much I loved my job. But why would I have to choose one or the other?
What about sacrificing ties with your loved ones to pursue a career? Naw, I wouldn't do that. Wouldn't be worth it. My loved ones are the source of my happiness.

:. playing favorites .:
(Favorites is plural for a reason.)

Band: Good lord that's a hard question. I could never answer it. Right now I'm listening to a lot of Joanna Newsome. But I love so much music.
Color: White
Season: Autumn
Vacation spot: Memphis, Tennessee
Superpower: The ability to travel through or manipulate time.
Character (in LoveCom): Naoko. He's so sweet and goofy. Makes me tingly.

How'd you get into LoveCom? Randomly started watching the anime after going on a review site.
Is this your first experience with a stamping community? Nope! :3

I think you are a Nobu- type character because you like the things in life that are consistent. You do things when you want to do them, and you would really like someone who would be fun to be with.

We have a lot in common by this... but, to choose, I'd say... Risa. By the way you dress, mannerisms, smart-ass-ness... definitely.

I kind of think that you are like Risa.
Most likely because you don't really care about your grades, your maturity level & what you're looking in a partner? :D

Ah ah .... Risa after severe faffing around.
